JD Service Now

I scheduled a system check up for my heat pump on March 20th. I also ask them to check a problem with the unit I was aware of. The office kept me informed as to when to expect the technicians. When the technician (Mike) was on his way, he text me his photo and information about himself. The technician and trainee arrived looking neat and were very polite. They took care not to cause any mess. I received an excellent explanation of what they would do and how they would do it. They completed the system check up and diagnosed the problem I was having. They informed me of what they found and documented it with photos of readings and pointing out the issues on the unit. I was given options on how to correct the issues found and cost of each option. All work requested was done quickly and correctly. They did an outstanding job and I will be using them in the future.

Scheduling the appointment with Comfort Advisor was easy. Kevin did a great job of explaining features of different HVAC systems and listened well. Dante and Roberto arrived early for the installation and explained how the thermostat worked. The carbon monoxide detectors are a good safety feature. I would definitely recommend this company. Six days after installation we received a thank you card from the company with an insulated lunch bag with cookies inside. Nice touch. Warranty registration was filed by the company and confirmation was received within two weeks.

JD Service is great. Always communicative, good updates, straight forward techs. Mike did awesome today as well as his associate Joshua. My heat went out in the midst of high winter here in NC and they were here next day to address the issue. While the fix is temporary (a new unit and some rework is required) they did everything in their power to get things comfortable while walking through the process a step at a time. There's a reason I am a part of their service member program. Highly recommend anyone in the Raleigh-Durham area to check them out.

Mr. Crane was prompt, knowledgeable, efficient, and honest. He wore shoe coverings in our home and kept a distance as we held our newborn through the consultation. He explained everything and answered our (several) questions thoroughly. He was in good humor and didn't try to bully us into deciding right now/today. Great associate and asset to the company.

Andrew McDuffie was First Class from start to finish. I would say it was very impressive considering the installation was a lot more expensive than I expected. However, this was due to my misunderstanding of the task at hand. Andrew was calm and professional in explaining the installation. Gave me the quote which ended up being a great deal. He installed an EV Charger and it looks awesome. He put in several hours. Cleaned everything up. Even took the boxes with him which was above and beyond my expectations. Very knowledgeable expert, master class electrician in my opinion. JD Service Now was organized and I strongly recommend Andrew McDuffie. Plus if I run into any issues? They guarantee parts and labor for a year. This is the kind of service you wish every place had.

The whole process was smooth. The JD Service technician reviewed all the work that was agreed to be done beforehand plus the process to be followed. Our technician (Andrew) was great. Very communicative on what was going to happen step by step and he provided the price to make sure we were in agreement. Everything was smooth sailing from there. No surprises and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Very pleased.

Richard was quick to point out the problem with our water heater. He gave us options and ideas on choosing the kind of water heater that would work best with our home. He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I would commend Richard's professionalism and would recommend him highly.
